The Saint Pierre d’Ottignies clinic has acquired a new administrative wing called ‘Aile 1000’. The triangular shape of the building is original and is a response to some very clear objectives. The building is made up of 3 levels constructed over a semi-underground car park. The ground floor plan is configured around a "core": the atrium, also referred to as the Agora. This is a truly welcoming location, which enables reception events to be arranged there without the need to access the parts reserved for staff only. In addition to this Agora, a multiple use room provides a space for the organisation of lectures and other events. The 1^st and second floors are also configured around this central Atrium, which forms a veritable well of natural light. With this in mind, the tones chosen reinforce the general luminosity of the building, both internally and externally. The dominant colour of the main surfaces is while, a light wood tone and light grey. This extension provides 1675 m² of office space and includes 6 meeting rooms. The building meets passive building criteria (K14 - consumption < 15 kWh/year/m²).
