The new-build visually seals off the existing building volume. The child day-care centre has a view of the surroundings through large glass surfaces. The materials were chosen in function of the urban context: bluestone, dark nuanced brickwork, aluminium exterior joinery with insulating glazing and solar shades that have been integrated in the glazing.
